When processed in a good processor with good recirculation and an excellent Hard Dot developer, such as our TD-250 Premium Film Developer (save $$) mixed with 1 part concentrate to 2 parts water, this film acquires beautifully sharp edged linear dot characteristics. While the sharpness and acuity of Focus dots produce tone reproduction that rivals our Hard Dot imagesetting films, it does so at a somewhat lower overall density. An additional unique quality of Focus imagesetting film is the emulsion’s response to “push processing”. Focus film adds speed and density with slightly increased development times or developer temperature, allowing customers significant latitude to simply and easily adjust performance.
